After Vance, Dave was assigned to McClellan AFB and the super connie. From there he was sent to Japan and flew RB-50s'.
After separation he flew for Overseas National Airways flying the DC-9, DC-8 and DC-10. He retired with the reserves. Dave
has had a minor stroke and it has slowed him some, but he enjoys talking and easily recalls his flying days. Dave and Dee
