Assistant B Flight Commander, Bainbridge.

After leaving Bainbridge in 1961, I returned to Decatur, Alabama and bought an existing business from a family friend. It was a "do It yourself hardware and lumber business" that turned out to be a non-profit business. After about five years I gave that up and went to work for the Mutual Savings Life Insurance Company domiciled in Decatur and spent several years selling life insurance and had my own agency. In 1975 I moved into the home office and rose to the rank of vice president. I finally retired in 1987. I remained active in the Air Force Reserves and retired as a Lt. Colonel. I enjoy my retirement and my health is good for someone who will be 86 this year. Hope you have a wonderful reunion and give my regards to all.
